Snap Fitness and Generations Physical Therapy in Winfield will celebrate its one-year anniversary Tuesday with a party, free food and drinks and prizes.
Barnyard BBQ will supply sandwiches and drinks from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today.
A free Zumba class will be offered at 7 p.m.
The fitness club is located across from McDonald?s in Winfield. Open for a year, the club now serves more than 1,000 members in Putnam County and surrounding areas.
?We were hoping to help fulfill a need in the community and help promote health and wellness,? said Chris Rotella, chief operating officer of fitness services for Generations Physical Therapy, the parent organization for Snap Fitness. ?Our membership base is now over 1,000 members and this is a great indicator that we are going in the right direction.?
The fitness club offers exercise equipment, group exercise classes, personal training and fitness consultations.
